allerdings die Rechte noch nicht angepasst

mount /dev/sdc1 /media/usbstick

dann sollte es schon mal mit dem backitup Adapter funktionieren

rebootfest, dann allerdings erst mit dem Eintrag in die fstab

dann

sudo mount /dev/sdc1 /media/usbstick/backups

und jetzt backup testen

den mount erstellst du aber schon aus deiner VM?
