Hi,
leider funktioniert es bei mir nicht. Kann es daran liegen das ich von einer SSD boote ?
Was bei mir noch kommt "Konfigurationsdateien bei diversen Paketen behalten werden sollten" und da habe ich mit "N" bestätigt. Wenn ich nachdem alles durchgelaufen ist neu boote ist der Raspberry nicht mehr erreichbar und er startet nicht. Nach kurzer Zeit verschwindet er auch in der Fritzbox.

Der Bootvorgang läuft bei SSD anders ab. Da muss die entsprechende Datei belassen werden.

ich habe noch ein wenig im Internet gesucht und nun läuft "Bullseye"

Das habe ich gemacht und nach dem reboot lief es.

@thomas-braun Hi, super Anleitung. Hat gut funktioniert. Nach dem Reboot war der Raspi allerdings nicht mehr im Netzwerk. Durch Ändern der Wait Einstellung in der Raspi-Config, auf No, war er dann wieder im Netzwerk und alles läuft.

1 System Options       Configure system settings
 S6 Network at Boot   Select wait for network connection on boot

Das Ändern der der Datei wait.conf, wie von einigen Usern beschrieben, hatte bei mir leider gar nichts gebracht.

heute wollte ich mich aicu endlich mal am Update versuchen.

Leider scheitert das

sudo apt install gcc-8-base

irgendwie.
Er bleibt immer an der selben Stelle stehen.

Buster erreicht in wenigen Wochen sein EndOfLife.

Es gibt sog. 'rolling releases', auch Debian 'sid' wäre sowas ähnliches.
Die sind aber in der Pflege aufwändiger als Distributionen mit festen Releases.

Die Übergangsfrist von einem Jahr von Release zu Releases sind bei Debian aber eigentlich ausreichend groß, um da nicht auf den letzten Drücker (oder gar erst nach dem Ableben der Version) hektisch werden zu müssen.

Im Gegensatz zu Windows, ist Linux eh in einem Bruchteil der Zeit neu und ganz wichtig, sauber ohne Schnick Schnack frisch eingerichtet.

Dass es schnell geht, weiß ich.
Aber wenn man in der Linux Welt nicht zu Hause ist, geht einem sowas mal durch.

An sich halte ich das System aktuell. Aber bei den großen Abständen ab 1 Jahr hab ich das dann nicht immer im Kopf.
Bei Windows bekommt man es ja immer irgendwie mit.
Und seit Windows 7 bin ich auch ohne Neuinstallation bis Win 11 gekommen.

Gibt ja auch komplexere Installationen, als ein iobroker wo nur das Backup eingespielt werden muss.

Bei Linux kannst auch ein Versionssprung durch ein paar Befehle machen, aaaaaber meist schleppst so nur versteckte Probleme mit. Ich habs zu Beginn auch nicht neu aufgesetzt und früher oder später komische Probleme gehabt. Seit ich das neu mache und das geht eben sehr schnell, keine Probleme mehr.

Windows ist nicht kostenlos und da darf man auch etwas mehr erwarten was die Update Routine bei einem Versionswechsel angeht ;)
Dann bekommst hier doch schnell mit, wenn alle ein neues Linux drauf habe und Du noch nicht, dann solltest eben auch mal mit dem Upgrade anfangen.
Das ist alles reine Gewohnheit und die ändert sich je mehr man sich mit was befasst :)

Habt ja recht.....

Dann mache ich gleich mal ein Topic auf, wegen dem SQL Backup.
Vermutlich wird beim einspielen keine Datenbank etc angelegt.
Also sql installieren, Datenbank anlegen mit genau den selben Namen und PW und dann das Backup einspielen. Vermutlich ^^.

@david-g mit sql kenne ich mich nicht aus, jedoch ist es bei influxdb so, sobald in der Instanz die Daten eingegeben und diese gestartet wurde, die Datenbank automatisch angelegt wird.
