Für Testumgebungen ist ein Container ideal.

Dann mache ich seit Jahren was falsch ;) Alle Webseiten laufen in eigenen Containern. Schon alleine der Sicherheitsaspekt. Wird etwas gehackt, hat man halt Zugriff auf alles im Container und die gemappten Volumes. Mehr nicht. Auf den Host / die anderen Seiten kommt man nicht.

mit kubernetes (einer management schicht über den containern) kannst du dann ganze heerscharen von container managen.
einfaches beispiel
du betreibst einen shop, der dümpelt von den zugriffen so vor sich hin, das wenige server ausreichen (load balancer, datenbank, applikationsserver, cache, mehrere web server)
jetzt werden produkte im fernseher beworben und plötzlich steigen die seitenzugriffe an. eigentlich müsstest du im vorfeld die hardware planen, aufstellen, installieren, konfigurieren. blöd ist, wenn die aktion vorbei ist, dann haste hardware übrig.
mit containern kannst du dynamisch die anzahl der webserver/caches hoch und runterfahren und bezahlst (bspw bei aws oder azure) nur das was du auch tatsächlich nutzt.Meine Adapter und Widgets

aber wenn man da mal drin ist geht es super.
ich würd auch sagen, blutige anfänger mit linux und iobroker auch erst mal direkt auf raspi. aber bei intensiverer nutzung sehe ich bei containern (von mir aus auch VMs) große vorteile.eigentlich wollte ich auch dich bekehren, da du der meinung warst, das container nicht für server-dauerbetrieb sind :)

Ja. Ist das ein Widerspruch?
Das Gefummel mit Mappings / MACVlan in/mit Containern kommt da dann ja noch hinzu.Ich werde aber wohl künftig genauer schauen was das für eine Installation ist und dann nur noch sporadisch meinen Senf dazu geben.

Genauer: Im 'privaten Umfeld'. Das die großen Jungs damit umgehen können und die Vorteile ausreizen können ist keine Frage.

Und nachher teste ich erstmal, ob mein ursprüngliches Problem mit den Updates behoben ist.
Leider habe ich die Probleme immernoch. Wenn ich was im Javascript Adapter ändere, schmiert mir bei jeder 3-4ten Änderung die Instanz ab und zieht einige Adapter mit. Dabei werden leider auch die Änderungen im Javasript (ich nutze größtenteils Blockly) nicht gespeichert. Manchmal, nach komplexen Änderungen, manchmal reicht auch eine Korrektur von einem Buchstaben, um den Fehler auszulösen.

Und nachher teste ich erstmal, ob mein ursprüngliches Problem mit den Updates behoben ist.
Leider habe ich die Probleme immernoch. Wenn ich was im Javascript Adapter ändere, schmiert mir bei jeder 3-4ten Änderung die Instanz ab und zieht einige Adapter mit. Dabei werden leider auch die Änderungen im Javasript (ich nutze größtenteils Blockly) nicht gespeichert. Manchmal, nach komplexen Änderungen, manchmal reicht auch eine Korrektur von einem Buchstaben, um den Fehler auszulösen.

Könnt Ihr mir sagen, wie ich das hinbekomme, dass auch was in der Log Datei steht. Per C&P ist über das Terminal vom Docker sehr bescheiden, da ein alle Markieren nicht funktioniert .
