cooles Projekt. Ne Ausgabe als Datei in den Ordner/opt/iobroker/logwäre schick.... Ganz plumb, mit Überschreiben der Datei bei jeder Ausführung...Den Docker check könnt ihr übrigens hier abgucken, hab ich die Tage gerade angepasst:
Dann ist der Check nicht nur für das offizielle Image gültig, sondern auch für jene, die sich ein Image selbst bauen.
Sofern das offizielle Image über den Check der Datei "/opt/scripts/.docker_config/.thisisdocker" erfolgreich war, könnte man noch die Image Version auslesen und ausgeben. Die steht nämlich in der Datei drin.
Im Image selbst habe ich zum Sammeln der Daten gerade in der letzten Version eine Umgebungsvariable "DEBUG" hinzugefügt, die die Log Ausgabe des Containers genau um solche Informationen wie sie vom Script gesammelt werden ergänzen soll.
Habt ihr vielleicht irgendwo mal eine Liste zusammengestellt, welche Informationen beim Support bezüglich ioBroker interessant sind? Ich würde dann die Infos als DEBUG-Ausgabe direkt ins ioBroker Log schreiben... Dann könnt ihr auch das normale Docker Log im Forum auseinanderpflücken.

Setzt allerdings einen weitgehend funktionierenden ioBroker voraus. Und ist nicht strukturiert. Die Zusammenfassung schaut immer gleich aus.

Nein. Das Script läuft bevor der ioBroker überhaupt gestartet wird und die Ausgabe ist ebenfalls strukturiert. Ich kann da genau die selben Sachen abfragen die auch im Script abgefragt werden. Macht aber nix, ich weiß ja was du von Docker hältst...
Andersherum: Wenn der Container nicht startet, weil ioBroker nicht startet, dann können die User auch kein Script auf der Kommandozeile ausführen... Dementsprechend wäre es m.E. sinnvoll das (oder zumindest einige wichtige Punkte) tatsächlich mit ins Docker Container Log aufzunehmen.Habt ihr denn mal eine Auflistung der wichtigsten Informationen für Support gemacht? Ich mein sowas wie js-controller, npm oder node Version habe ich ja sowieso schon drin... Aber z.B. die Abfragen zu States, DB-Größen usw. habe ich bisher noch nicht behandelt... Das ist für mich auch ok, weil ich nur will das der ioBroker startet. Was darin verkonfiguriert ist, ist mir in dem Moment egal... das wäre dann aber wiederum interessant für die Supporter im Forum, wenn mal wieder gejammert wird, dass der ioBroker langsam ist oder irgendwas nicht geht....
Wie dem auch sei, wenn das Script dann mal in ioBroker integriert sein sollte, dann steht es natürlich in jedem Fall auch innerhalb des Containers zur Verfügung (vorausgesetzt der Container/ iobroker startet noch).
Allerdings habe ich für das Docker Image bereits jetzt alles auf das Docker Log ausgelegt. Das ist halt das Log wo die User am einfachsten, auch per GUI ran kommen..Falls es für dich keinen Sinn ergibt, dass ich diese Informationen auch im Docker Log bereitstelle, dann frage ich mal die anderen First-class Supporter wie z.B. @Glasfaser @nox309 @Homoran @apollon77 @fastfoot und alle die ich vergessen habe

bei Docker und Container bin ich nicht so aktiv.
Was da immer wieder kommt sind die Probleme mit dem Durchreichen von Hardware (USB) und Ports HM-REGA, HMRPC).
Da viele User das selber nicht verstehen wäre eine automatisierte Prüfung sicher sinnvoll.
Aber ob das hier im Skript schon passt?? -

Das skript läuft ja im Client ab, da kann man (denke ich) nur abfragen, dass die Geräte/Ports nicht ankommen. Die Einstellungen im Host dürfte man wohl nicht abfragen können.
Aber da ich auch keine tiefergreifende Ahnung von Containern und VMs habe... -

Ich würde die beiden letzten Blöcke (OS Repos / Listening Ports) vor die ioBroker Blöcke setzen. Dann kannst in den ioBroker Blöcken ein exit machen, wenn was nicht passt und hast trotzdem die OS nahen Informationen.Das wird immer besser - großes Lob!

Fehlermeldungen abfangen ist noch ein Thema.
Dazu müsste ich mal einen ioBroker kaputt machen und schauen wie man das handeln kann. -

Wenn ich das richtig verstehe soll die Diagnose ja den Helfern Hinweise geben, was möglicherweise ein Grund für unerwartetes Verhalten von ioBroker sein kann.
Das Ganze läuft dann quasi in zwei Stufen ab:- 1: Lass mal die Diagnose laufen und poste die Zusammenfassung.
Daran sollte dann erkennbar sein, ob da was grundsätzliches falsch läuft wie unendlich viele Updates die in der Schlange warten, altes oder nicht unterstütztes OS oder eine vermurkste node Installation. Und auch ob Docker etc. - 2: Schick mal die Ausgabe der vollen Diagnose
Ich glaube, was für die jeweiligen Stufen wichtig ist, wird die Zeit zeigen.

Das multilingual zu skripten ist (mir) zu aufwändig.
Deswegen erstmal nur Englisch.Um das mehrsprachig zu haben müsstest du entweder jeden String als Variable anlegen und den eigentlichen Text in einer Sprachdatei haben oder je nach Sprache ein eigenes Skript pflegen. Ist beides recht aufwändig.

In meinen Augen gehört da auch deutsch mit rein. Soviel muss da dann auch nicht angepasst werden
