Ja, aber ich habe mittlerweile realisiert, dass der Normaluser nicht so stramm am Update ist, wie wir es sind, und wie es natürlich auch erforderlich ist.

Viele kommen von Windows und vertrauen fälschlicherweise darauf, dass das Betriebssystem automatisch die Sicherheitsupdates implementiert. Es stimmt aber nicht, auch dort muss man selbst Hand anlegen.

Ich denke, dass es unser aller Aufgabe ist, exakt darauf hinzuweisen, um unseren Followern eine möglichst sichere Teilnahme zu ermöglichen.

@meister-mopper gebe Dir prinzipiell Recht. Allerdings wenn man mit einem Smarthome schon alles mögliche überwacht, dann sollte man vielleicht auch das System selbst überwachen. Im neuen Admin gibts ja einen entsprechenden Datenpunkt bzw. man kann ja auch den Linuxadapter nutzen, um diese Updates über seine Visualisierung anzustossen.

Bei mir leuchtet dann eine gelbe Alarmglocke. ;)

Bei Hardware gebe ich Dir allerdings Recht, da würde ich keine Firmware Updates machen, wenn nicht unbedingt nötig. Da kann man schon mal was richtig kaputt machen.
