Sagen wirs mal mit nem M$ Vergleich:

Du hast dein Windows 10 gut auf aktuellem Stand gehalten. Aber irgendwann musst du auf Windows 11 umsteigen da Windows 10 veraltet ist.

Und für den Update würde ich dir raten:

• wenn du eine SD benutzt einfach auf eine neuen SD neu installieren und Backup retour spielen. Wenn was nicht geht kannst du wieder die alte Karte rein stecken.
• wenn du eine SSD benutzt würd ich auch überlegen eine zweite anzuschaffen. Ist halt teurer.

Alternativ kannst du auch überlegen gleich deinen Pi zu aktualisisern, Hängt davon ab wieviele RAM dein PI jetzt hat und wie ausgelastet er sonst ist. Pi4 ist an sich kein Problem - aber je nach Adaptern und Scripts kannst den natürlich auch ans Limit belasten.

Und noch was:
Nach dem Ende von backitUp Restore BEGINNT ioBroker erst mit der Installation aller Adapter. Das kann einige Zeit dauern. Aktuelle backitUp Versionen sollten da ne Warnung zeigen. Also nach dem Ende von backitUp WARTEN bis alles installiert ist. System am Besten da mal in Ruhe lassen. (Schreib das nur, weil immer wieder Meldungen kommen "Nach dem Restore fehlen fast alle Adapter ...")

Ich nutze den iob eigentlich nur für deconz, sonoff als Schnittstelle für Raspmatic (CCU3), damit ich die Sachen dort bedienen kann.

...was weiß ich, ich habe das vor ein paar Jahren nach Anleitung aufgesetzt und tut seither alles tutti.
Da ich kein Deep Dive Pro da bin, kann ich das nicht beurteilen, da kein Plan ;)

Frage war noch, weil ihr das lange diag sehen wolltet, ob der pi4 ausreicht. Meine Leihenwissen sagt anhand der Werte "eher ja".

Sollte für die paar Adapter eigentlich reichen.
Den "Discovery" kannst Du bei einem einmal eingerichteten System rauswerfen.
Und ob da wirklich mehrere Instanzen von "tr-064" und "hm-rpc" laufen müssen?

Ansonsten dürfte der fürs Erste noch reichen.

ich bin ziemlich neu hier im Forum und habe (glaube ich) ein ähnliches Problem. Mein IO-Broker lief einige Jahre vor sich hin und ich habe mich ganz nach dem Motto "never touch a running system" verhalten. Jetz wollte ich einige Änderungen an meiner Visu vornehmen und dabei natürlich alles auf den neuesten Stand bringen.
Sudo update & sudo upgrade lief durch, der Pi wurde neugestartet - nun klappt das Update von js-controller (Ver. 4.0.23 -> 7.0.6) irgendwie nicht. Der Befehl "upgrade self" wird ausgeführt, geht aber ohne Meldung wieder in den Prompt zurück:

Wenn ich "iob diag" ausführe, bricht er ab mit:

"iob fix" läuft durch -> "iob diag" verlangt wieder "iob fix" usw.. Ich weiß nicht wo ich ansetzen kann, könnte mir bitte jemand eine Hilfestellung geben?

Ich vermute, dass mehr Infos benötigt werden - ich weiß leider nicht welche sinnvoll wären. Sagt mir gerne Bescheid was benötigt wird, dann poste ich die Sachen hier.

Grundlegend falsches Verhalten.

Buster ist komplett veraltet. Wie der Rest dann auch.
Du hast das System jetzt so lange nicht getatscht, musst du neuinstallieren.

muss temporär auf einem Raspberry so aufgerufen werden:
