Habe leider zu Beginn nur einen 16 GB schnell zur Hand gehabt, man unterschätzt als Anfänger eben auch schnell mal die Dimensionen,
das Thema hatten wir vor Monaten schon und habe dir das schon damals geschrieben, das der Stick nicht die beste Wahl ist und sollte ja nur "Übergangsweise" sein.
des weiteren ist ein Backup in dieser Art auch nicht gerade berauschend von der Geschwindigkeit, wie du selbst siehst anhand deiner read/write Geschwindigkeit.ich vermute, das dein iobroker etwas "gewachsen" ist und ein fertig abgeschlossenes Backup die Größe deiner noch zur Verfügung stehenden Speicherkapazität(5,9GB) übersteigt und daher abbricht.
ich würde den Stick an der Fritzbox lassen und mittels Adapter Backitup deine Daten dort sichern, wie z.b. iobroker, History, Scripte...geht auch recht schnell, da diese Daten sehr klein sind.
Diese hast dann im Zweifelsfall zur Verfügung, falls du Iobroker/VM mal neu aufsetzen musst/willst und kannst somit deine Daten zurückspielen.Da du ja jedes mal ein Vollbackup machst und nicht inkrementell sicherst, muss jedes mal die gesamte Maschine weg gesichert werden und das kann ne Weile dauern.
Für deine Backups würde ich nen guten Stick oder ne kleine SSD Festplatte mir zulegen und direkt an deinen Server anschliessen( sollte man zwar getrennt halten und nicht am selben Rechner hängen, aber besser als gar kein Backup), aber das läuft dann etwas schneller -
O.k. vielen Dank nochmals, dann werde ich mal den neuen USB-Stick mit 120 GB in Angriff nehmen und versuchen einzubinden.

Ich kann auch eine kleine SSD nehmen, an dem soll es nicht scheitern. Ich habe natürlich nicht den Weitblick um dies beurteilen zu können ?
Habe damit 2 getrennte Datensicherungen.

Habe mir gestern diesen 120 GB USB-Stick, 420 MB/s READ/380MB/s WRITE besorgt und bevor ich mit der Formatierung und dem mounten starte, hätte ich noch einige Fragen an dich.
Aktuell schaut es bei mir so aus. Ich möchte den aktuellen Stick am IntelNUC belassen und hinten den 2. USB-Eingang für den neuen Stick benutzen. Neben sda1 gibt es dann einen zusätzlichen sda2 ?
Jetzt habe ich mit der Abfrage sudo fdisk -l eine Fehlermeldung in rot.
Partition 2 does not start on physical sector boundary.Was hat diese zu bedeuten ?
Ich habe den USB-Stick noch nicht formatiert und auch nicht angesteckt.

Zumindest zeigt mir dies das Programm an.Ich nutze an der Fritzbox keine USB-Sticks mehr. Der Grund:
Die Fritzbox fuhr nicht mehr hoch, nachdem der Stick gestorben war. Da fehlt(e) im Fritz-OS ein Timeout. Möglich, dass AVM das zwischenzeitlich gelöst hat, da ich denen damals eine Info zukommen ließ.
Der WAF ist gleich Null, wenn der Stromausfall passiert, wenn man nicht zuhause ist. Selbst, wenn doch: Die Ursache zu finden hatte einige Zeit in Anspruch genommen.
Für Backups läuft jetzt ein NAS durch. Das hat ausreichend Platz für tägliche Backups der letzten Wochen. Für die Backup-Rotation habe ich den Proxmox-Backup-Server auf einer VM laufen. Zusätzlich kommt einmal die Woche ein Backup auf ein zweites NAS, welches allerdings nur eine kleine QVD-SSD von Samsung hat.
Beide NAS benötigen zusammen Energie für etwa 100 Euro im Jahr. Vielleicht sollte ich mal über was in der Wolke nachdenken...

Hätte es anschließend über root versucht, aber hier auch Fehlermeldung.Wenn könnte ich hier noch fragen ?

Ich nutze an der Fritzbox keine USB-Sticks mehr. Der Grund:
Die Fritzbox fuhr nicht mehr hoch, nachdem der Stick gestorben war. Da fehlt(e) im Fritz-OS ein Timeout. Möglich, dass AVM das zwischenzeitlich gelöst hat, da ich denen damals eine Info zukommen ließ.
Der WAF ist gleich Null, wenn der Stromausfall passiert, wenn man nicht zuhause ist. Selbst, wenn doch: Die Ursache zu finden hatte einige Zeit in Anspruch genommen.
Für Backups läuft jetzt ein NAS durch. Das hat ausreichend Platz für tägliche Backups der letzten Wochen. Für die Backup-Rotation habe ich den Proxmox-Backup-Server auf einer VM laufen. Zusätzlich kommt einmal die Woche ein Backup auf ein zweites NAS, welches allerdings nur eine kleine QVD-SSD von Samsung hat.
Beide NAS benötigen zusammen Energie für etwa 100 Euro im Jahr. Vielleicht sollte ich mal über was in der Wolke nachdenken...

Ja, dies ist auch mein Ziel in der Zukunft ein echtes NAS zu implementieren, aber da bin ich aktuell technisch noch erheblich überfordert, habe erst seit 8 Monaten mit Linux und etc. zu tun. (zuerst RSP3+ für 5 Monate und seit 3 Monaten IntelNuc am Laufen). -

Formatierung in exFAT, besser ext4
reines Linux, daher ext4,
exFAT wenn mehrere Betriebssysteme genutzt werden, z.b. Linux/WindowsÜber Shell auf proxmox: Bei sudo lshw wird abermals ein PW verlangt. Wenn ich mein PW vom BN: Karl eingebe bekomme ich eine Fehlermeldung.
Hätte es anschließend über root versucht, aber hier auch Fehlermeldung.Wenn könnte ich hier noch fragen ?

Mein aktueller USB-Stick-12 GB ist im Verzeichnis media/USB-Stick/NAS unter sda1 gemountet.
Kann ich für meinen USB-Stick-2-120GB das gleiche Verzeichnis verwenden oder muss ich hier ein eigenes Verzeichnis anlegen ?

Mein aktueller USB-Stick-12 GB ist im Verzeichnis media/USB-Stick/NAS unter sda1 gemountet.
Kann ich für meinen USB-Stick-2-120GB das gleiche Verzeichnis verwenden oder muss ich hier ein eigenes Verzeichnis anlegen ?
Mit sudo fdisk -l bekomme ich den aktuellen USB-Stick mit 16 GB Bezeichnung sda1.

du machst z.b.
sudo mkdir /media/usb_backup sudo mount /dev/sdb1 /media/usb_backuptesten kannst du mit
mount -lwie du siehst, kommt der Fehler, das der Eintrag in der fstab fehlt, daher brauchst du noch die UUID mittels
blkidsudo nano /etc/fstabträgst du dann ein
UUID=die-uuid-deines-neuen-sticks /media/usb_backup ext4 auto,defaults 0 2 -

UUID=die-uuid-deines-neuen-sticks /media/usb_backup ext4 auto,defaults 0 2Ich habe alles schon mit den Schritten, welche du beschrieben hast anhand eines Videos vorher schon durchgeführt, aber das Einbinden hat anschließend nicht funktioniert, Fehlermeldung.
Ich glaube der wesentliche Fehler war der gleiche Ordner, mit der Anlage eines neuen Ordners hat es jetzt auf Anhieb funktioniert.Backup fehlerfrei durchgelaufen.
