Ich habe eben nochmal in den Instanz Einstellungen die PLZ für unseren Ort geändert (es gibt für unseren Ort drei PLZ`s) und dann wieder mit der Haupt PLZ gespeichert, welche auch auf der "DasWetter" Webseite mit der passenden Ortsangabe gefunden wird. Danach hat er mir jedoch die folgenden Meldungen ins Debug LOG geschrieben, was ich mal als falsche Ortsangabe interpretieren würde.

Bei daswetter.0.location_1.ForecastDaily.Day_1.date steht weiterhin der 7.1.
Neustart des Adapters hat nichts gebracht.

Log sieht eigentlich ok aus...
Direkt auf der Webseite stimmen die Daten, aber der Adapter bekommt alte Werte

@rene_hm - erst mal vielen Dank für die Realisierung des neuen 4er Adapters. Schade, daß nicht mehr Stundenwerte für mehrere tage vorhanden sind wie bisher, aber da kann man nichts machen. Früher gab es auch passend zum Wind die entsprechenden 102 Wind-Symbole. Ist es geplant, daß die wieder in den Adapter kommen? Sonst muß ich mir etwas überlegen, wie ich aus Windrichtung und Stärke den passenden Wert generiere, was aber für 102 Icons mit Blockly Script mühsam werden kann...
Der Rest, nur zur info, funktioniert bei mir top, wie erwartet.

Mir geht es wie @1Topf - auf der dasWetter Webseite ist eine Beschreibung vorhanden. In den 4.3.0 Adapter DPs bleibt das Feld leer.
Bevor du fragst, ich habe in der Zwischenzeit ALLES gelöscht und neu installiert. Also DB-Baum, Instanz und den Adapter selber.
Beim ersten Versuch wurden alle DP`s neu angelegt, aber auch nach mehrern Stunden stand immer noch überall NULL drin.

Also das ganze Spiel noch einmal und nun wurden wieder alle DPs mit Werten beschrieben, AUSSER der discription DP. Im Log gab es dafür folgende Fehlermeldung nach Erstinstallation. Vielleicht hilft das ja.

@JB_Sullivan Das log ist da doch eindeutig: es wird der richtige Ort gefunden, aber beim Abruf der eigentlichen Wetterdaten bekommst du einen Fehler vom Server. Der Fehler ist "429" = "zu viele Datenabrufe" bzw. "Quota Exceeded".
Damit bekommst du keine Daten vom Server, und damit kann der Adapter auch die Beschreibung nicht übersetzen und in den DP schreiben. Auch die anderen Daten werden sicher nicht aktualisiert...
Warum der Meteored-Server sehr häufig den 429-Fehler liefert (hatten wir ja hier schon mehrfach) kann ich nicht sagen. Ich kenne den Algorithmus dort nicht.

Auf der dasWetter API Seite gibt es ja eine Statistik von Abrufen. Es sind offensichtlich in der Free Version 50 Abrufe in 24 Stunden erlaubt. Also ~ 2 Abrufe pro Stunde. Ich habe aktuell 40 Minuten als Abrufzeit in den Instanz Einstellungen eingestellt. Macht in 24 Stunden 36 Abrufe - also ist noch Luft bis die 50 Abrufe erreicht sind. Warum ich allerdings jetzt schon 24 Abrufe habe und dann auch noch in so komischen Intervallen von 0-4-2-4-2-usw. erschließt sich mir nicht wirklich. Wenn das so weiter geht, sind die 50 Abrufe zwischen 16:00 - 17:00 Uhr erledigt

Wie im aktuellen Diagramm von Meteored zu sehen ist, bin ich jetzt bei 24 Abrufen, aber die Beschreibung wird immer noch nicht in den description DP geschrieben.

Aus meiner Sicht sieht die Statistik bei dir aber trotzdem seltsam aus. Es sieht so aus, als ob der Adapter einmal pro Stunde neu gestartet wird. Schicke mir mal ein (ungefiltertes) log von deinem System. Gern auch per email...

Außerdem: warum rufst du so häufig ab? Meteored aktualisiert 2 mal pro Tag...

Wenn du immer noch den 429-Fehler hast, musst du die Anzahl der Abrufe reduzieren. Ich weiß nicht, ob neben der Gesamtanzahl (laut Statistik) auch weitere Kriterien bei Meteored zu dem 429-Fehler führen...

@D3ltoroxp wenn cron noch angeboten wird, ist das ein Zeichen, dass die Instanz NICHT wie beschrieben gelöscht wurde! Der Adapter wurde von "scheduled" auf "deamon" umgestellt, d.h. der Adapter läuft ständig. Mit Version 4 darf er nicht ständig neu starten...
