ESPHome 2023.12.0 - 20th December 2023 Pillow: bump to 10.1.0 esphome#5815Bei mir war und ist die Pillow Thematik mit der ESPhome iobroker Adapter v0.5.0 beta 8 behoben und funktioniert.

@xdelta Habe den Adapter nochmal komplett neuinstalliert. Aber die Meldung bleibt gleich. Er zieht sich anscheinend bei der Installation die "ältere" Pillow Version.

Ich habe das gerade mal nachvollzogen - auch bei mir wird nach dem update von der beta 8 auf beta 10 nun das pillow package 10.1.0 verlangt anstelle 10.0.1 wie noch bei der beta 8 udn spuckt fleissig Fehlermeldungen aus.
Nach dem Zurückspielen meines vm snapshots läuft die beta 8 wieder einwandfrei mit der pillow v 10.0.1.
Offenbar wird von ESPhome in neueren Versionen eine neuere Pillow Version verlangt, die der Adapter nicht bietet, bzw. nur die ältere Version...?!
Mach am besten mal ein issue bei gitub auf..

Das "Problem" betrifft nur das Pillow Package. Die Fehlermeldung dazu tritt nur dann auf, wenn man Displays mit lokal eingebundenen Fonts einbindet.
Hast du ein Display mit lokalen fonts am laufen? Ansonsten siehst du auch den Fehler des Pillow Pakets nicht (YAML...)

Kann mir evtl wer helfen?
Hab gerade espHome installiert und komme nicht auf das dashbord.
in den logs taucht dieser Fehler auf.

Hi, nachdem ich meinen ESPHome Adapter aktualisiert hab (0.5.0. Beta 8), bekomme ich auch die Meldung:
Please update your pillow installation to 10.1.0. (pip install "pillow==10.1.0"). - file: arial.ttf id: font20 glyphs:Wie kann ich auf pillow 10.1.0 aktualisieren? mit pip install "pillow==10.1.0" bekomm ich pip:command not found

@bernd33-1 Moment mal... das scheint nur den ESP mit dem EPaper Display zu betreffen. Ein anderer ESP der nur 2 Relais ein/aus schaltet tut. Da kann ich das Projekt compilieren. Scheint mit der arial.ttf Datei zusammen zu hängen?

@bernd33-1 ja das package braucht er nur für bestimmte esphome Komponenten. pls nochmal probiern, hab jetzt fix auf neuere Version geändert.

@simon42 Hi Simon, jetzt geht es. Ich hab/musste die ESPHome Instanz nach der Installation einmal von Hand neu starten und jetzt geht alles wieder. Log und Installieren via OTA.
