Zumidest balgen sich jetzt nicht zwei Dienste um das gleiche Gerät.

Also der Modem Manager lief tatsächlich, hab ihn gestoppt und deinstalliert.
Danach Stick raus und wieder rein, dann neu gestartet.Ich sehe hier nicht viel:

jetzt ist zum Glück wieder Ruhe im Zigbee-Karton.
Zumidest balgen sich jetzt nicht zwei Dienste um das gleiche Gerät.
Und ich hoffe, dass dieses Thema jetzt auch für alle anderen mit ähnlichen Problemen gelöst ist.

Solange du als erstes die folgenden Meldungen bekommst wird der Stick korrekt erkannt, und das ganze Gehampel mit dem Modem-Manager ist ein Nebenkriegsschauplatz.

Sind Folgefehler, da die Bibliothek den Port nicht wieder freigibt, und der Adapter beim Versuch erneut zu starten den Port nicht auf bekommt - er ist noch offen.
Die entscheidenden Fragen sind jetzt:
- welche Firmware ist auf dem Stick ? Erinnerst du was du darauf geflasht hast, oder hast du ggf. ältere Log-Dateien zum nachschauen
- wie sieht es um den Stick aus, insbesondere mit 2.4GHz Störquellen (USB3 Devices, DECT, WLAN, BT, aber auch Herstellerspezifische 2.4GHz dongle für Tastaturen/Mäuse/Kopfhörer, etc.
Was zumeist hilft solange die Firmware noch ok ist:
- Adapter anhalten
- Stick abziehen
- 30 Sekunden warten
- Stick wieder anstecken
- Adapter starten.
Zusätzlich kann es Sinnvoll sein den Stick an einen etwas anderen Ort zu bringen - das geht natürlich nur wenn er via USB Verlängerung angeschlossen ist. Das sollte er aber sowieso sein, da die meisten NUC / PI im 2.4GHz Bereich stören (oft durch USB3/WLan/BT)

Nachtrag: Die Firmware auf den verschiedenen Sticks kann nur eine gewisse Menge an Kommunikationsproblemen abfangen bevor sie abstürzt. Daher ist davon auszugehen das mit dem Umfeld etwas nicht optimal ist wenn die Firmware regelmässig / häufig abstürzt. Ich hatte das Problem selber und habe es durch neu-platzieren des sticks lösen können.
Wichtig ist: Ein Neustart des PI / NUC führt üblicherweise keinen Hardware-Reset am USB Bus durch - nur ein Software-Reset findet statt, weswegen die Firmware erst dann neu initialisiert wird wenn der Stick stromlos wird (abschalten des PI/NUC oder abziehen des Stick) -

Bei der Firmware müsste ich nochmal schauen.
Ich hab je örtlich nichts geändert, keine neuen Geräte oder ähnliches. Ohne erkennbaren Grund lief es einfach nicht mehr. Stick raus und wieder ein hab ich auch zig mal versucht.

Du hast vielleicht nicht aktiv etwas geändert. Das heisst aber nicht das alles so geblieben ist. WLAN und BT wählen ihre Frequenzen üblicherweise automatisch. Auch ein WLAN eines Nachbarn kann ggf. stören. Selbst das Umstellen einer Metalldose in der Nähe des Koordinators kann auf Grund der durch die Dose entstehenden Reflektionen der Funkwellen einen Effekt haben.
Stick an USB Kabel, und Stick anders platzieren (andere Ausrichtung ?) kann also helfen.
Die Meldung
2024-06-30 16:22:44.649 - error: zigbee.0 (4896) Starting zigbee-herdsman problem : "network commissioning failed - timed out waiting for nib to settle"
deutet darauf hin das es der Firmware nicht gelingt innerhalb von 40 Sekunden das Zigbee-Netz stabil aufzubauen. Das ist also ein Funk-Problem oder ein Firmware-Problem.

Also ich hab die Vermutung das es tatsächlich die Firmware sein könnte.
2021 hab ich den Stick geholt und da war 20190523 drauf, ich kann mich nicht erinnern hier mal ein update gemacht zu haben, da alles bisher lief hab ich das nie beachtet. -

Ich hatte auch häufiger das Problem, das nach einem Neustart auf den Zigbee Stick nicht zu gegriffen werden konnte.
Hab jetzt auch mal den Modem Manager raus geworfen und die letzten zwei Neustarts gingen ohne Probleme und mein Zigbee Netzwerk war gleich wieder da.
Ich hoffe es bleibt dabei.
