Der Backupbefehl auf der Konsole läuft erst mal. Wenn der fertig ist, mache ich das über BackItUp.

Da passiert weiter nichts, außer ein paar Dateileichen. Ich würde mir aber Sorgen wegen der großen Datenmengen machen. Das ist auch nicht normal, wie sich das anhört.

Das kannst du mal in den Data Explorer geben und schauen, wo (besonders) der Schuh drückt:

Zu Beginn hatte ich wirklich im Sekundenabstand aufgezeichnet. Ist aber schon abgemildert. Aber die Altlasten sind noch da. Müßte die häufigen Aufzeichnungen "abschneiden" Die Werte von damals sind ohnehin nicht von Bedeutung gewesen.

Und ich danke den Beteiligten für die Hilfe. Ich konnte jetzt auf "Bookworm" umziehen und dort das Backup wieder reinholen.

Vielleicht kannst du folgende Anleitung für das offizielle Influxdb-Docker-Image ergänzen, da sich in einem Docker-Container der influxdb Prozess nicht ohne weiteres beenden lässt und mit einer Kopie der *bolt Datei gearbeitet werden muss:

su influxdb
cd /var/lib/influxdb2
cp influxd.bolt influxd2.bolt
influxd recovery auth create-operator --org <deine_org> --username <dein_user> --bolt-path /var/lib/influxdb2/influxd2.bolt
mv influxd2.bolt influxd.bolt
kill 1

Das mit dem Backup hat ja jetzt geklappt. Auch ein neues Backup und Rückholen klappt. Aber mein altes Backup der vorherigen Installation wurde zwar eingespielt, ist aber in Influx nicht auffindbar. Nur wenige Werte, aber keine alten Daten. OK- ich stelle mir die Daten von 2023, die ich brauche, auf einem alten Pi dar. Und fange sauber neu an. Das rückgespielte Backup war 5 GB groß. Wie finde ich das und kann ich den Datenberg löschen?
