Was spricht denn gegen eine Checkbox & Anzahl (wöchentlich) und Checkbox & Anzahl (monatlich). Das wären 2 Cronjobs und würde für jeden ein individuelles Backup Konzept ermöglichen.

Hast du manuell das Backup ausgeführt? Da wird nix gelöscht ... nur über die Automatik.

Ja habe es manuell angeschmissen - vielleicht war deshalb keine Verbesserung zu sehen. Ich stell mal Automatik auf 17:50 und melde mich dann nochmal.

Also dein Wunsch ist schon sehr speziell und ist bei Backitup nicht geplant.
Du kannst bei einem täglichen Backup die Anzahl der Backups beliebig hochsetzen und die auch zur Not ein komplettes Jahr oder länger behalten.
Da aber iobroker bzw. auch generell ein wachsendes System ist, sehe ich keinen Sinn darin, Backups von vor einem Jahr aufzuheben.

Meine Backups sind nie älter als 10 Tage

OK nun automatisch - nur keine Veränderung. Man sieht dass er von den ersten beiden Typen nun 3 Versionen weggeschmissen hat, aber zigbee wird gar nicht angefasst.

Hast du von Github die Version installiert?
Falls ja, mache mal einen Upload.

Wie gesagt, bei mir wird zigbee gelöscht und dadurch ist es schwer den Fehler zu reproduzieren.

@harrym nee - ich nutze den deconz nicht - sondern den zigbee-Adapter mit CC2531. Und wie gesagt die Backups laufen auch und der Adapter sichert anscheinend die shepherd.db. Mir gehts ja um das Löschen nach x Tagen - das bei allen anderen Typen funktioniert.

unter „Haupteinstellungen“, „weitere Einstellungen“ gibt es History Einträge, wofür genau ist das? Und unter „ioBroker“ gibt es „Stück“, das steht doch für die Anzahl der maximalen Backups?

Ok nicht so schlimm.
Ich versuche es ein wenig einfacher zu formulieren und stelle es als request.
Vlt gibt es ja irgendwann mal die option des wöchentlich / monatlichen Backup.
