Und das dusselige MobaXterm ist auch Schund, wenn das einen X-Server aufreißen sollte. -

Ich hab hier die PowerShell laufen. Nur brauch ich nur für den Absprung via
ssh user@hostund bin dann in der bash vom Rasperry.

sudo apt updateNach dem Upgrade von eben auch mal neugestartet? Denn Firmware und so'n Zeug wird erst nach bzw. während eines Reboots installiert.

Nein, die läuft bei sauberer Konfiguration über apt mit.

Wie sollen wir wissen wie der Stand ist? -
Offenbar bootest du ja ins System rein. Dann lass es so wie es jetzt ist. Dauert halt der Bootvorgang im schlimmsten Fall nur ein paar Sekunden länger. Bei einem Server aber ja kein Ding, den startet man ja nicht mehrfach am Tag.
