Ich prüfe mal was und melde ich neu

@Wichtelmann was auf deinem alten system zugewiesen war, spielt keine Rolle, du benötigst in der Regel so 10-20GB für dein System. (ggf wesentlich mehr, wenn du historische Daten mit ablegst)

Es stehen 20GB zur Verfügung. Die PC-Version ist aktuell, die Proxmox frisch installiert und ebenso. node.js unterscheidet sich nur von 22.21.0 zu 22.21.1
Das Backup wird im LXC eingespielt und abgearbeitet. Mehr passiert aber dann nicht mehr.
Das Fenster reagiert nicht mehr, lässt sich auch nicht schließen.
Habe auch nach eine Stunde keine Änderung. Bevor ich es wieder auf ein Grundinstallationsbackup zurück setze, kann ich euch irgendwo ein log zeigen, sofern vorhanden? Könnt ihr mir mit den Konsolenbefehlen dazu helfen?

OK, hatte Ubuntu anhand eines Videos installiert, ggf da aber nicht auf die Version geachtet, letzte Ubuntu LTS wäre dann 24.04. oder das von Dir beschriebene Debian (dann 13.1-2?). Ist meine Hardware für alles offen? Ich weiß nicht welche Versionen mehr oder weniger genügsam sind.

Das mit Admin schaue ich mir mal an, ist alles aktuell mal zum testen/ausprobieren, daher bin ich als admin unterwegs.

Zwischenbericht:
Debian als LXC Container eingrichtet, Admin User sowie "normalen" User erstellt. ioB installiert.
Ich wered dann das Restore nochmal versuchen.

wenn der restore(die config zurückgespielt ist) sollte eine Erfolgsmeldung kommen, der eigentliche Restore die Adapter installieren, läuft dann im Hintergrund.
