ppm nicht mehr da?

Diese Fehlermeldung erhalte ich wenn ich Adapter updates möchte:
$ iobroker upgrade echarts@1.7.2
Update echarts from @1.5.4 to @1.7.2
/bin/sh: 1: npm: not found
Error trying to check npm version: Command failed: npm -v/bin/sh: 1: npm: not found

Wenn ich npm install -g npm@latest eingebe erhalte ich als Fehlermeldung:
install: missing file operand
Try 'install --help' for more information.
Aus Install --help werde ich leider nicht schlau...
Ich vermute ich muss npm neu installieren?
