Das ist bei jedem Browser unterschiedlich. Hier eine im Netz gefundene Anleitung für den Chrome:

Wir können nun mit der in der oben blau umrahmten Eingabe über einen beliebigen Web Browser auf den Proxmox Server zugreifen. Beim Aufruf der Adresse erscheint die nachfolgende Meldung, weil unser Netzwerk das von Proxmox erstellte Zertifikat nicht kennt. Da Proxmox VE standardmäßig selbstsignierte SSL-Zertifikate verwendet, wird eine Warnmeldung angezeigt, wenn wir versuchen, die Benutzeroberfläche über den Webbrowser aufzurufen. Akzeptiert einfach das SSL-Zertifikat. Klickt in Google Chrome auf Weiter mit 192.168.x.y (unsicher).

Hast du den root-user mit 2FA abgesichert?

Wenn ja, funktioniert der Adapter nur mit einem user, der kein 2FA benötigt.

Na ja, das hättest du ja auch explizit einrichten müssen.

Im Firefox sieht es nach Bestätigung des untrusted Zertifikats wie folgt aus:

Im Chrome nicht bestätigt:

Es hat aber mit deinem Problem nichts zu tun. Proxmox kommuniziert mit https-Protokoll und das auch mit dem Adapter.

hier der weg den ich gehe wenn ich die Seite das erste mal aufrufen ( gelöschter Browser Cache) Chrome


dann erweitert drücken
dann Weiter zu 192.168.42.90 (unsicher)

hier sehe ich das ich pam ausgewählt habe. mit pve komme ich mit meinem User nicht rein. dann melde ich mich an.

jetzt geht es mit pam. habe noch einmal nicchts ausgewählt in der konfig Proxmox Adapter und noch einmal gespeichert.
Jetzt ist er grün.

Und somit wird auch bei dir via https kommuniziert. Der PAM-login ist richtig, da dies auch über ssh funktioniert.

PVE-User können sich nur in der GUI einloggen.

Im Chrome und Edge bleibt dieser Hinweis. Wenn du ihn nicht magst, musst du dich wohl mit ACME und Proxmox auseinandersetzen müssen :man-shrugging:

habe heirzu schon ein Video gefunden. kann ich das dann so machen?

Zertifikate ist nicht so meins. Habe angst das mein proxmox nachher nicht mehr läuft bzw. ich mich nicht mehr anmelden kann.
