[gelöst] Multihost mit 'Bookworm' und js-controller 5.0.19

Hallo zusammen,

ich betreibe seit einigen Jahren ein Multihost-System.

Master ist eine VM und zwei Raspi als Slave. Alle sind auf aktuellem Stand: js-controller 5.0.19 und Node.js v18.17.1.

Nun habe ich einen der Raspis mit Raspbian 'Bookworm' neu aufgesetzt, den ioBroker installiert und wollte ihn diesen nun wieder als Slave anbinden. Das wird mir aber nun leider bei

iob multihost connect

mit

No Multihost server found. Make sure iobroker is running on the host where you enabled multihost discovery (and it is not this host)!

verwehrt!
(ja, der discovery server auf dem Master ist enabled).

Im Oktober 2023 wurde schon mal ein Workaround mit einem Downgrade beschrieben. Das kann aber doch nicht die Lösung sein? Gibt es hier schon neue Erfahrungen bzw. bessere Vorschläge?

@bilberry Ja den Fehler/das Problem hat mir auch schon jemand gemeldet. Gleiches Verhalten. Hatte nur noch keine Zeit das in Ruhe zu reproduzieren und einen Issue zu erstellen wo ggf das Problem liegt

ja, da hast Du recht - habe mich etwas ungenau ausgedrückt: die bisherigen Systeme laufen noch mit v18.17.1 (hier wurde mir noch nichts neueres angeboten) - das neu installierte System hat aber Node.js v18.20.2

Update auf v18.20.2 habe ich nun durchgeführt. Leider ändert das aber nichts am eigentlichen Problem, was ja nach Aussage anderer User eher am js-controller hängt.

Im Tab Hosts mit der Expertenansicht den Schraubenschlüssel auf dem Master anklicken, dann auf Multihost klicken, den Haken rein und speichern, der iobroker wird dann neu gestartet und ist für den Slave für ein paar Minuten sichtbar.
Dann also gleich auf dem Slave die Verbindung herstellen

Den von dir beschreiben Haken habe ich gefunden. Auch wenn ich überzeugt bin, das diese Option genau dem von mir zuvor benutzen CL-Behfehl iob multihost enable entspricht, habe ich das trotzdem mal ausprobiert. Leider - wie erwartet - weiter ohne Erfolg!

Inzwischen behaupte ich sogar, dass es gar nicht mit dem Bücherwurm in unmittelbaren Zusammenhang steht, sondern nur jetzt aufgefallen ist. Denn meine vorhanden Slaves (beide noch 'Buster' und wie eingangs beschrieben mit js-controller 5.0.19) würden sich auch nicht mehr mit dem Master koppeln lassen (bei iob multihost browse erscheint die gleiche Fehlermeldung wie oben). Zum Glück sind die halt noch verbunden.

Kann das das mal bitte jemand mit vergleichbaren Softwarestand versuchen zu reproduzieren? Ein iob multihost browse bei aktivierten Multihost-Discovery (iob multihost enable) genügt aus, um das zu sehen. Eine Änderung in produktiven System ist für diesen Test gar nicht erforderlich.

@bilberry Auf dem Slave "iob setup custom" ausführen und hier die IP des Masters eingeben, dann iobroker neu starten. Der Slave sollte dann im Master wieder vorhanden sein. Das automatische Connect funktioniert schon länger nicht mehr.

@homoran OK, iob setup custom hatte ich tatsächlich noch nicht ausprobiert. Dort habe ich alle default-Werte belassen und lediglich als host die IP vom Master eingetragen.
Danach hat der Master meine neue Installation als den ehemaligen Slave wiedererkannt und selbständig die noch fehlenden Adapter inkl. Konfiguration aus dem Backup nachinstalliert.

Damit wäre das Problem behoben - wenn auch leider nicht auf nativ vorgesehene Art und Weise. Ich danke Euch!

Nun habe ich aber ein neues: Meine Zigbee-Konfiguration wurde zwar auch wiederhergestellt, aber alle Geräte sind nun disconnected. Hat jemand dafür eine schnelle Lösung parat? Andernfalls mache ich dafür mal lieber ein neues Thema auf.
