    Da die Ressourcen langsam knapp werden, würde ich den Iobroker gerne von meinem Raspi 3 auf den 4er migrieren. Das Problem ist, dass ich den iobroker und das System vom 3er schon seit gefühlten Ewigkeiten nicht mehr geupdatet habe. Npm ist auf 6.14.16, Node.js auf 12.22.12, der js Controller ist auf 3.1.6., die Adapter dementsprechend ebenso veraltet. Ich weiß, selber Schuld, wenn man keine Updates macht. Ich vermute mal, dass ich npm und node.js nicht so ohne Weiteres auf die letzten Versionen bringen kann.

    Daher meine Frage: kann ich vom iobroker auf dem 3er mit den alten Adapterversionen ein Backup machen und es auf dem 4er einspielen, auf dem ich den Iobroker neu aufgesetzt habe? Wäre nett, wenn ich ein Feedback zu meinen Überlegungen von euch erhalten würde.

    Liebe Grüße
    Armin

      @wolf

      Am einfachsten ist es immer, auf dem Alt-Gerät alles auf Stand zu bringen (soweit wie möglich), mit dem Backitup-Adapter ein Backup ziehen und dann mit dem Backup in den Neubau einzuziehen.

      Wobei das bei so einem abgesoffenen System schwierig wird. Da könnte es sogar sein, das eine vollständige Neuinstallation von Grund auf schneller geht.
      Gib uns mal einen Überblick, was da so los ist:
      Ausgabe von

      curl -sLf -o diag.sh https://iobroker.net/diag.sh && bash diag.sh

      wäre hilfreich.

      NodeJS Fixer Skript:

              @wolf sagte in Umzug von rpb 3 auf rpb 4:

              stretch

              oh ha!
              Da wirst du wahrscheinlich mittlerweile wirklich festsitzen.

              dafür wird wahrscheinlich nichts mehr gebaut
              werden.

              was wird dir denn im admin noch zum update angeboten wo kein rotes Kreuz dran ist?

                    Logisch, die Update-Karawane läuft ja auch schon seit Jahren an deiner Oase in der du da hockst vorbei.
                    Never-tatsch-a-running-system funktioniert halt nicht.

                    Zuerst würde ich den Desktop ausschalten. Der Arbeitsspeicher geht dir ja jetzt schon aus, da haste keine Kapazitäten für bunte GUI.

                    Versuch zunächst mal:

                    sudo systemctl set-default multi-user.target
                    sudo reboot

                      @wolf Man kann es versuchen, neu machen kann man immer noch.

                      BACKUP ZIEHEN!

                      dann schrittweise versuchen erst den Controller, dann admin, dann weitere Adapter hochzuziehen.

                      Eigentlich muss zuerst der Unterbau hochgezogen werden: OS und node.

                      Stretch ist nun scho so lange tot, da wird aber nix mehr gehen

                          Ich hab das OS seit mindestens 5 Jahren nicht mehr geupdatet. Da fürchte ich, dass, wenn ich apt get drüber laufen lasse, schon etwas zerschossen wird.

                          Bringt es etwas, wenn ich auf nodejs 16 update? Lassen sich dann die Adapter aktualisieren?

                          Sorry, dumme Fragen, aber ich bin nur User mit rudimentären Linux-Kenntnissen.

                          Auf jeden Fall möchte ich mich jetzt bedanken, dass es hier so schnell Tipps gibt. Unabhängig davon, ob es für mein Problem eine Lösung gibt, oder nicht.

                            Eigentlich muss zuerst der Unterbau hochgezogen werden: OS und node.

                            Für das OS gibt es nix mehr. Aber nodejs könnte man mal versuchen auf nodejs@16 (und dann ggfls. weiter hoch) zu bringen.
                            Das gibt es noch von nodesource:

                            nodejs:

                              Ich kann mich dunkel erinnern, dass es irgendwo eine Anleitung für das Updaten von npm und nodejs gab. Weißt du vielleicht einen Link dazu?
