Hallo Gemeinde,
ich versuche grade meinen Iobroker zu retten. Am Anfang steht ein backup zu erstellen, dass nicht im System, sondern extern auf einen USB Stick gespeichert wird. Der Js.Controller ist veraltet. Leider funktionieren meine bemühungen für ein Update nach Anleitung nicht.

Meine Konstellation ist ein Raspberry Pi mit Iobroker. Aufgerufen mit der IP der Iobrokeers mit Firefox (win11), oder Putty als Konsole.

O.K. da ich erst ein Backup erstellen wollte, bevor ich dann mit der Reparatur anfange, habe ich das Tool von elszershark heruntergeladen.

Leider komme ich da nicht weiter, da es immer wieder diese Fehlermeldung gibt.

plink: the -pw option can only be used with the SSH protocol

Ich habe schon geforscht ob es an einer Pfadangabe in den .bat dateien liegt, warum das nicht funktioniert. Hatte aber keinen Erfolg damit.

Kann mir hier jemand erklären warum das bei mir nicht funktioniert.

So leid es mir tut, bitte bei Problemen mit diesen "Tools" an Elzershark wenden.

Das kommt nicht von ioBroker und kann hier nicht ausreichend supportet werden.

Bevor das Tool etwas ganz kaputt macht, bitte mehr ainfos!
Wir versuchen dann dir mit ioB Bordmitteln zu helfen.

Wahrscheinlich ist dein System einfach nur viel zu alt

Da musst du RasperryOS 13 'Trixie' von Grund auf neuinstallieren. (Nein, ein 'inline-Upgrade' ist nicht möglich).
Dann in der 64Bit-Lite-Variante.

Dann nochmal einen Lauf von

anschauen. Wenn das Ding dann auf aktuellem Stand ist ziehst da davon ein Backup und mit dem ziehst du auf ein frisch neuaufgesetztes System um.

Wie äußerte sich das "funktioniert nicht"?

Was hast du als Backup?

Ziel:

• Daten sichern soweit möglich
• neue Karte besorgen (kein Billigkram!)
• Trixie lite 64 Bit darauf installieren
  • iobroker incl nodejs hinterher
• So gut es geht wiederherstellen

ich denke ich werde deinen Rat befolgen und das ganze neu aufsetzen. Sitze hier nun schon den 3. Tag vor der Kiste und probiere alles mögliche aus. Mittlerweile brauche ich kaum noch nachsehen wie die ganzen Linux Befehle heißen.

Das hat auch was gutes wenn man solch einen Fehler hat. Frage zur Wartung, was ja wohl hier sehr wichtig ist. Reicht es jeden Monat mal reizuschauen um Linux und iobroker updates zu machen?

Alles weitere werde ich wohl finden, da das ganze durch euch sehr gut erklärt und aufgestellt ist.

Ich habe es nicht geschafft einen USB Stick zu mounten. Alle Anleitungen schlugen fehl. Liegt aber wohl an mir und dem nicht mehr funktionierenden iobroker. Werde, wenn der iobroker nochmal so funktioniert, dass man fast alles anwählen kann ein letztes Backup machen, dann diese Backups die ich habe sichern, nachdem ich die Karte mit dem Betriebsystem aus dem Raspi entmommen habe. danach neues System aufsetzen.

Muss ich noch von anderen Dingen aus der Iobroker Suite Backups machen die so nicht mit drin sind?

Ohne deine Frage direkt zu beantworten:
Heb dir die SD jedenfalls auf und überschreib sie nicht. Damit kommst du ggF auch später noch an alles ran was jetzt erreichbar (und in Ordnung) ist. Neue SD für neue Installation ist ja jedenfalls Pflicht.

Frage zur Wartung, was ja wohl hier sehr wichtig ist. Reicht es jeden Monat mal reizuschauen um Linux und iobroker updates zu machen?

Ja, Wartung ist extrem wichtig. Bei JEDEM Betriebssystem.
Ich würde spätestens alle 14 Tage mal reinschauen. So bleiben die Updates meist überschaubar.

bitte erst sichern, und zwar so schnell wie möglich!!
so wenig Schreibvorgöänge wie es geht.

Nimm filezilla oder WINSCP und sicher dir das wichtigste/alles was geht auf den PC!

Hallo Gemeinde,
ich habe heute auf dem alten System einen USB Stick mounten können. Und ein paar mal ein Backup vom IoBroker darauf gesichert.
Zudem habe ich eine 32Gb SD Karte mit Trixie lite 64 über den Raspi Pi Imager erstellt. Habe alles bereits angegeben, Pi Model, User, Passwort, Wlan ssid und Passwort, Zeitzone und Tastaturlayout.
Ich gehe davon aus, dass die eingestckte SD Karte bootet, wenn ich sie in den Pi stecke und dann das Netzteil anschließe. Weiterhin denke ich, dass ich dann erst mal sehen muss ob Updates vorliegen und die installieren. Dann an die Iobroker Installation gehen. Was muss ich da alles installieren um dann das Backup mal zu probieren?

Der Backitup-Adapter ist in der Grundinstallation enthalten.

Was hast du an Optionen in backitup konfiguriert?
Was könnte da noch fehlen?

Falls du eine VIS hast (oder auch ohne) kannst du den linux control Adapter noch installieren.
Der zeigt dir an, ob es System oder Adapter updates gibt.
Ist sehr praktisch, ich lasse es mir in der VIS anzeigen und kann dann zeitnah updaten.

im Moment soll gar nichts installiert werden, im Gegenteil!
Hier wird gerade versucht ein System zu retten
