Ich würde da keine weiteren Gedanken verschwenden. Der ioBroker ist halt sehr debian-lastig, was die Linux-Version angeht. Eigentlich alle Tools drumherum gehen davon aus, das da was aus der Debian-Ecke läuft .
Auch 'nodejs-update' rennt nur auf Debian & Co.
Das Distributions-übergreifend zu coden hatte ich keine Lust und auch den Bedarf nicht gesehen. Ich hoffe, das Arch-User sich selber zu helfen wissen und das passende node-Paket einspielen.

Ja, ich weiß, dass Debian die bevorzugte und unterstützte Plattform ist. Trotzdem bin ich als Manjaro-Fan (Nerd) froh, dass ioBroker stabil auf Manjaro läuft. Auch wenn es kein großes Problem ist, alle 2-4 Jahre ein Debian-System zu upgraden, bevorzuge ich stabile Rolling-Systeme, die bei richtiger Pflege deutlich länger laufen.

Mir ist klar, dass es nur wenige Arch- oder Manjaro-Nutzer gibt und kaum jemand seine Freizeit dafür opfern würde. Es gibt sicherlich auch wichtigere Dinge.

Vielen Dank für deine Zeit und die Einschätzung der Meldungen im Protokoll. Wenn ich das so sagen darf, handelt es sich eigentlich nur um einen Schönheitsfehler bei Nicht-Debian-Systemen.

läuft ja soweit durch. Lediglich die Meldung, das nodejs falsch installiert sei stört auf non-debian-Kisten. Aber das möchte ich aus mehreren Gründen nicht fixen.

Die Node.js-Version bei Manjaro ARM hinkt immer etwas hinterher. Auf dem Pi4 läuft außerdem ein Pi-hole mit unbound, das nur minimal Ressourcen beansprucht. Der Betrieb erfolgt lüfterlos bei Temperaturen von etwa 37 bis 40 Grad Celsius.

Der Kernel wohl auch.
Was mich aber überrascht ist die saubere Meldung zu nodejs. Hattest du das selber mal gegen node gelinkt?
Denn bei mir wird da fälschlicherweise diagnostiziert, das nodejs nicht richtig installiert sei.

Hinkt Manjaro da immer so hinterher? EndeavourOS hat da immer was recht aktuelles am Start:

Ja und nein – leider hinkt Manjaro ARM für den Pi4 derzeit etwas hinterher, während mein Manjaro-Desktop auf dem neuesten Stand ist:

Nachtrag: Beim Kernel nutze ich fast immer nur die LTS, Manjaro updated seine Pakete in der Regel einmal im Monat, also nicht so oft wie Arch.

Hallo, ich habe mir Arch und Manjaro noch einmal angeschaut. Arch ist ein Rolling Release, was bedeutet, dass Pakete unmittelbar nach ihrer Veröffentlichung in die Repositories gelangen. Das führt dazu, dass Arch-Benutzer oft die neuesten Software-Versionen erhalten, was jedoch auch das Risiko von Fehlern erhöht. Diese Probleme werden in der Regel schnell behoben.

Manjaro basiert auf Arch und teilt sich in die Zweige Stable, Testing und Unstable auf:

• Der Unstable-Zweig erhält Pakete direkt von Arch, sobald diese veröffentlicht werden.
• Der Testing-Zweig übernimmt diese Pakete aus dem Unstable-Zweig und testet sie innerhalb der Manjaro-Community.
• Der Stable-Zweig ist der am gründlichsten getestete Zweig, in den die Pakete aus dem Testing-Zweig übernommen werden, sobald sie als stabil genug gelten. Daher kann das etwas dauern ...

Wenn ich das richtig interpretiere, entspricht der Manjaro Unstable-Zweig am ehesten dem Arch-Zweig und EndeavourOS entspricht Arch Linux stärker als Manjaro, ist jedoch benutzerfreundlicher gestaltet. Deshalb hast du neuere Versionen als ich unter Manjaro Stable.

Auf meinem Pi4 nutze ich Manjaro ARM stable, weshalb aktuell die Node.js-Version 20.11.1 installiert ist (Branch Compare). Wer eine neuere Version unter Manjaro benötigt, muss auf den Testing- oder Unstable-Zweig wechseln. Mit dem Stable-Zweig habe ich bisher gute Erfahrungen gemacht. Sollte ich jedoch einmal eine neuere Version zeitnah benötigen, müsste ich umschalten.

Richtig. EndeavourOS ist (fast) 100% Arch. Also immer sehr nah 'an der Kante'. Und in erster Linie Terminal-basierend.
Aber genau das spricht mich an. Muss man aber wollen und wissen. Als Server-System bevorzuge ich allerdings Debian, die EndeavourOS-Installation ist nur zum testen und herumspielen, das ist nicht mein Produktiv-System.
