Hallo Kollegen, meine Linux Kenntnisse gehen gegen 0, ich hatte damals Hilfe von Wendy beim Installieren von meinem Modbus-Adapter. Ich habe auf Nodejs 10.16 aktualisiert. Jetzt findet sich nicht mehr der USB-Stick wieder:

Es muss ein Unterschied zu sehen sein - sonst Stick kaputt, Pi kaputt oder irgendwas im System verbogen.Gruß,

Braucht Serial RTU einen Port ? Oder ist das /dev/ttyUSB0 ?
Sorry, kenne mich mit dem Modbus-Adapter nicht aus. -

@mguenther du hast gesagt das du nodejs Update Genacht hast. Wie? Nachdem how to hier im Forum? Hast du npm rebuild ausgeführt? Weil wenn nein und auch sonst Anleitung nicht befolgt dann ist dein serialport nicht mit der neuen nodejs Version neu gebaut und damit geht’s nicht.

Zumindest sind mir keine Fehlermeldungen aufgefallen. Es gab warnings, aber das war es auch. Würde denn ein Entfernen von node und nodejs und ein nochmaliges installieren helfen?

@mguenther Und ist der Port bzw im Filesystem /dev/ttyUSB0 überhaupt da? Ansonsten nochwas: Wenn DU mehrere USB Sticks an einem Linix hastkann es sein das die manchmal die reihenfolge tauschen

Ja, gelesen und ich habe es bis 4a angewandt. Mir war ein Fehler beim Befehl npm rebuild unterlaufen - den hatte ich erst auf der obersten Ordner Ebene ausgeführt, es gab keine Fehlermeldungen. Dann aber nochmal gelesen und vergessen ins iobroker-Verzeichnis zu wechseln. Das dann gemacht und nochmal npm rebuild aufgerufen. So der Stand.
