I have six Z-wave different nodes running well for several months. Since then the adapter was updated a few times up to version 1.4.1. Recently discovered that I am not able to add additional nodes, trying to add three different devices with no success. Tried to uninstall the adapter and reinstall it back - it only sees my six old devices and refuses to add more. Any idea what is going on?

Solution: It is a good idea to do factory reset on your z-wave device before attempting to add it to ioBroker system. There is chance that device was used before and needs to be reset. After resetting, everything started to work as expected.

@ap2017 To troubleshoot I would enable logging in the adapter config, restart the adapter, the try to include a node. Then find the OZW_Log.txt and post it here

@ap2017 This is not a problem of ioBroker. The controller goes into inclusion mode, but it doesn't seem like the controller receives anything from the nodes you are trying to add. Are you 100% sure that you are doing it correctly?

@AlCalzone Thank you, I forgot that all three "new" z-wave devices that I am trying to add I bought on eBay, so they were used by somebody. After factory reset everything started to work!
