Die Installations-Basis ist stabil und aktuell. Hatte da ehrlich gesagt anderes erwartet.
Poste mal bitte das Log vom 'Backitup'-Adapter.

Nur wie gesagt, selbst das normale Backup via Console läuft ja nicht.

Ich hatte gehofft das wäre etwas gesprächiger.
Ist noch genügend Platz?df -h /
Am Rande: ftp-Transfer sollte nicht die erste Wahl sein. Wenn du die Möglichkeit hast per CIFS oder NFS da die Daten zu sichern tu das.

Das dürfte dann der iobroker sein. Was schleppst du denn da alles mit? Hollywood-Filme aus den Überwachungskameras? Da wundert es mich auch nicht, dass dein Bakup schwer zu schlucken hat. Das ist einfach zu viel Zeug zum packen.
Mein iobroker lebt z. B. mit 820MB:

hab ne ring Kamera und Adapter da waren noch Bilder und Videos versteckt
hab die jetzt alle mal gelöscht, dann war das ganze auch nur noch halb so groß und etwas mehr
