    Hey ioBroker community,

This is Wei from the SONOFF team.
Some of you may already have heard of the SONOFF iHost smart home hub (https://itead.cc/product/sonoff-ihost-smart-home-hub/ref/1/) —and perhaps a few of you are even using it. While we believe the built-in eWeLink CUBE (https://ewelink.cc/ewelink-cube/) system meets the needs of many users, we’ve also heard a recurring question from the community:
Can iHost support other smart home platforms as well?

That’s exactly the motivation behind the iHost Open-Source Project (https://github.com/iHost-Open-Source-Project)—an initiative to open up iHost and unlock its full potential by enabling more open-source platforms to run locally and efficiently on the device.

    What is iHost?
iHost is a locally running smart home hub developed by SONOFF. It features a Docker-based architecture with support for modular add-ons, full local control, and no reliance on the cloud. It’s built to be open, developer-friendly, and ideal for edge computing use cases in smart homes.

As part of this initiative, we’ve already completed the native integration of Home Assistant on iHost. But we also know that ioBroker is one of the most powerful and widely adopted platforms, with an incredible community behind it. That’s why we’re reaching out today.

We’re looking for developers and contributors who are interested in adapting ioBroker to run on iHost. Our team will provide:
    • Full technical support
    • Documentation and specs for iHost’s Docker-based add-on framework
    • Working examples (like the HA integration) for reference

We’d also love to hear your thoughts:
    • What do you expect from iHost?
    • What features or add-ons would make it useful for you?
    • How can we build a community-driven experience together?

Let’s bring ioBroker to iHost and create something powerful—together.

Thanks for reading, and feel free to leave your words.

    MOD-EDIT
Embedded links converted to plain text for clarity

      @wei
      Welcome to the forum.
I've made the embedded links readable in plain text. This isn't personal. It's simply because, unfortunately, we also have to deal with a lot of spam.

@samson71 Fully understood, and thank you to the moderator for the reminder and the revision. Running a forum is never easy, and we truly appreciate the effort. We also hope more developers will join us in working on meaningful projects together.
