Habe ich in diesem Fall für Dich erledigt.

Alles in einem Block, ohne Lücken oder Absätze zu schrieben macht das Lesen "unerträglich".

Um Hilfe zu erhalten solltest Du ein vollständiges "iob diag" in Codetags eingebettet nachliefern.

Bist du wirklich sicher dass du auf dem Testsystem admin 7.1.5 installiert hast? Die Anzeige sagt was anderes. Ist dein Testsystem ev. ein Multihost System? Ist admin auf ALLEN System aktuell (oder nicht installiert)?

und beim installieren kommt folgende Meldung:

Das sieht danach aus, dass die Datei /opt/iobroker/node_modules/iobroker.backitup/io-package.json defekt ist. Schau mal was da drinnen steht. Kann es sein, dass beim Installieren mal der Diskspace ausgegangen ist?

Persönlich würd ich den tree /opt/iobroker/node_modules/iobroker.backitup entfernen und dann eine Neuinstallation des Adapters versuchen. Aber warte damit noch, da gibts sicher Leute die kompetentere Aussagen treffen können.

Und stell mal ein iob-diag wie von Samson71 angefordert ein. Nicht dass z.B. deine Disk defekt ist o.ä.

auf dem Master ändert sich nichts. Wenn ich den Befehl auf dem Slave ausführe, wird angezeigt das die Version 6.3.5 vom Admin Adapter installiert ist. Wenn ich dann über die WEB Oberfläche das Update ausführe, wird auch die Aktualisierung auf 7.1.5 angezeigt. Aber ohne Erfaolg für den Backitup Adapter. Wenn ich dann noch mal

ausführe wird wieder die version 6.3.5 angezeigt.
Wie kann ich den auf dem Slave den Adapter direkt aktualisieren?

gar nicht!
Zumindest nicht wenn der Multihost korrekt aufgesetzt wurde.
Dann werden nämlich alle Instanzen über den Master verwaltet, auch die der Slaves.

Daher darf vor der Kopplung eines Slaves an den Master kein Adapter suf dem Slave installiert sein.

Manuelles Backup erstellen
Master - Slave auftrennen
Per CLI auf dem Slave den Admin löschen
Master - Slave verbinden
Upload all von/auf beiden
Adapter installieren wenn auf Slave kein Admin mehr gefunden wird
