ich wollte eben mein IOBroker und dessen Adapter mal wieder auf Vordermann bringen, leider ohne Erfolg.
Ich kann weder die Adapter, noch den js.controller aktualisieren. Interessanterweise bekomme ich nur eine Fehlermeldung, wenn ich per Konsole und --debug upgraden will ( "npm ERR! Cannot convert undefined or null to object") ansonsten läuft das Upgrade durch, allerdings ohne Erfolg, bzw. mit derselben Version wie vorher.
Was hab ich da falsch gemacht?Btw: beim Ausfüllen der Sysinfo ist mir aufgefallen, das im Terminal die Versionen 18.17.1 / 9.6.7 angezeigt werden, auf der Info Seite im IOB allerdings
18.16.1 / 9.5.1 (sieht aus, als wäre da schon was nicht ganz i.O. :man-shrugging:)Viele Grüße

Gute frage, das System selbst ist aktuell, "nur" iobroker und die Adapter hatte ich etwas vernachlässigt (never change a running system ;) , admin version ist 6.3.5 ).Zu deinen Tipps:
ich habe zunächst mit iob nodejs-update 18 aktualisiert. Das lief durch, hat aber am Problem nichts geändert. Ein downgrade auf 16 lief zwar, allerdings hatte ich am Ende immer noch die 18.18. drauf.Hier die summary von iob diag:

neben hunderten "extraneous" Einträgen (zu Modulen die ich nicht kenne) fällt einer mit "invalid" aus der Reihe, der Senec Adapter

Dann installiere den noch mal aus einem Repo, nicht aus dem GitHub.
Entweder über den Reiter 'npm' oder kurz das Beta-Repository freischalten und den daraus dann installieren.
Danach die Beta-Quelle wieder deaktivieren.
Mittelsiob update iob upgradedie Installation updaten.

Hallo und sorry wegen der späten Rückmeldung, aber ich war die letzten Wochen komplett ausser Gefecht gesetzt.
Kurzes Feedback zum Problem: (fast) alles läuft wieder wie geschmiert bzw. sogar viel besser! Die Fehler habe ich zwar nicht beheben können, aber ich habe festgestellt, dass eine Neuinstallation (dank des super Backup Adapters) gar nicht weh tut 😉. Hätte ich dann noch einen Snapshot der VM mit frischer IOB Installation (was ich in dem Zusammenhang gleich nachgeholt hab und jedem ans Herz legen kann) wäre das ganze Thema innerhalb einer Stunde gegessen gewesen. Wenn ich dagegen halte, wielange ich mit der Fehlersuche beschäftigt war... 🙈. Von einem Problem bin ich zum nächsten gekommen, ich glaube, ich hatte mir zum Ende auch noch node. js zerschossen.
Aber, dümmer bin ich dadurch auch nicht geworden 😉.Nochmal Danke für deine Hilfe und bis zum nächsten Problem
