Monitoring Temperature and Humidity from DHT22 over MQTT
-
Hi,
Recently I have started using ioBroker more frequently and I made a couple of videos in English to show case how to install it on Raspberry Pi and how to integrate ANAVI Thermometer over the machine-to-machine protocol MQTT.
ANAVI Thermometer is an open source hardware, Wi-Fi development board for measuring temperature that’s powered by an ESP8266. It comes with a built-in DHT22/AM2302 temperature and humidity sensor and has slots for various additional peripherals. I have designed ANAVI Thermometer using free and open source tools only. The default firmware is an Arduino sketch that implements the Home Assistant MQTT sensor component with automatic discovery. The integration in ioBroker is straight-forward with adapters MQTT Client/Broker and HASS-MQTT.
