States not visible in the web interface

Hi,
Couldn't find an answer for my problem in particular so I decided to create an account and ask directly.
I am trying to write an adapter which stores websocket calls and in the first phase I just wanted to test out the core functions (setState, setObject, etc). Later on, I will add custom logic for responses.
It seems that the setState command is executed fine but the objects don't appear in the web interface but they're stored in states.json.
Any idea if it might be a bug or do I need to do something else?
My version is 1.5.14.

Getting fed up of having to scroll through the same posts each visit?
