Moin zusammen! 👋

Was der Adapter liefert

Druck: Zustand (lädt, heizt, druckt, pausiert, fertig …), Fortschritt, Restzeit, Schicht, Filamentmenge

anycubic-cloud-api
(GPL-3). Ändert Anycubic etwas, kann es brechen.

Cloud-Modus nötig – im reinen LAN-/Offline-Modus geht es nicht.

Kein Kamerabild – die Cloud liefert keine Einzelbilder.

Keine Steuerung (Pause/Fortsetzen …) – bewusst noch nicht drin.

Installation

-
und
_
; benötigt Node.js 22.19 oder neuer

Hi everyone! 👋

The anycubic-cloud adapter is now in the latest repository and can be installed normally in the admin. This thread replaces the previous introduction thread (https://forum.iobroker.net/topic/85495/).

It mirrors Anycubic printers via the Anycubic cloud and is deliberately read-only: it reads states but sends no commands to the printer. So far I've only tested my Kobra S1 with ACE 2 Pro – feedback on other models is very welcome!

What the adapter provides

Print: state (downloading, heating, printing, paused, finished …), progress, remaining time, layer, filament amount

ACE: all slots with colour, material, SKU, remaining amount + dryer

Usage: filament per slot after each print, the last 30 prints as history

Also: temperatures, fans, plain-text status, reconnect with backoff, token expiry warning, runs in compact mode

Please read first

⚠️ Unofficial & at your own risk. There is no public API from Anycubic; the adapter uses the same path as the slicer and reads credentials/certificates at runtime from the
anycubic-cloud-api
project (GPL-3). If Anycubic changes something, it may break.

Cloud mode required – it does not work in pure LAN/offline mode.

No camera image – the cloud provides no still images.

No control (pause/resume …) – deliberately not included yet.

Installation

Requirements: Node.js 22.19 or newer, js-controller 6.0.11 or newer, Admin 7.6.20 or newer.

In the admin, search for anycubic-cloud under Adapters and install it (the "Beta (latest)" repository must be active). If you already installed it via "Custom"/npm, just keep updating – instance and token are kept.

Please do not install from the GitHub link: the adapter is written in TypeScript and the repository only contains the source – the instance will not start.

Token

You need the access token from Anycubic Slicer Next once (~90 days valid). A small Windows helper script (
tools/get-token.ps1
, on GitHub only) finds the token and puts it on the clipboard – it only reads files. Step by step in the README.

New since the last update (0.3.3)

0.3.4: ACE temperature no longer jumps to a fixed cloud value every 10 minutes; printer shows online again right after waking from sleep mode

0.3.5: the same for the ACE humidity

0.3.6: requests to the cloud and PyPI time out after 30 s, printer IDs are cleaned before being used as object IDs

0.3.7: printer IDs are restricted to letters, digits,
-
and
_
; requires Node.js 22.19 or newer

Please report bugs as a GitHub issue or here in the thread – ideally with a debug log, your printer model and whether an ACE is attached. Thanks for testing! 🙌
