Hallo zusammen,

ich möchte euch meinen Adapter iiyama-prolite zum Testen vorstellen. Er steuert
professionelle iiyama ProLite Digital-Signage-Displays (LH-Serie) über das offizielle
iiyama-Steuerprotokoll — wahlweise per LAN (TCP, Port 5000) oder RS232 (seriell).

Funktionen

• Zwei Verbindungsarten: TCP/IP oder serielle Schnittstelle (RS232)
• Ein/Aus inklusive Wake-on-LAN für Displays im Netzwerk-Standby
• Eingangswahl: HDMI 1–4, DVI-D, DisplayPort 1–2, VGA, USB 1–2
• Lautstärke: Hauptlautsprecher und Audio-Ausgang
• Bildeinstellungen: Helligkeit, Kontrast, Farbe, Schärfe, Farbton, Schwarzwert,
  Gamma, Farbtemperatur, Bildformat
• Toneinstellungen: Höhen und Bässe
• Statusabfrage in einstellbarem Intervall (5–300 s), inkl. Betriebsstunden und Seriennummer
• Automatischer Reconnect, mit langsamerem Polling im Standby
• Befehlswarteschlange, damit sich gleichzeitige Kommandos nicht ins Gehege kommen

Installation

Über den ioBroker-Admin: Adapter → iiyama-prolite → Installieren (Repository latest).

Konfiguration — bitte beachten

• Monitor-ID muss mit der ID im Display-OSD übereinstimmen (Standard: 1).

• Baudrate bei serieller Verbindung: 9600 für die meisten Modelle,
  115200 nur für die LHxx42UHS-B1-Serie.

• Power-Save-Modus (1–4) muss mit der Einstellung im OSD des Displays übereinstimmen —
  das ist die häufigste Stolperfalle:

  Modus	WOL	Wake per Signal	Netzwerksteuerung im Standby
  1	aus	aus	nicht möglich
  2	aus	ein	nur über Quellsignal
  3	ein	aus	WOL + Power-Kommando
  4	ein	ein	WOL + Power-Kommando (empfohlen)

• Für Modus 3 und 4 muss die MAC-Adresse des Displays eingetragen werden, sonst
  funktioniert das Einschalten aus dem Standby nicht. Die Broadcast-Adresse wird bei Bedarf
  automatisch aus der Host-IP abgeleitet (192.168.1.100 → 192.168.1.255).

Worüber ich mich beim Feedback besonders freue

• Welches Modell und welche Verbindungsart (TCP oder RS232)?
• Funktioniert Einschalten aus dem Standby (Power-Save-Modus 3/4 + WOL)?
• Werden alle Bild- und Toneinstellungen korrekt übernommen und zurückgemeldet?
• Stimmen Betriebsstunden und Seriennummer?
• Bei Problemen: bitte Loglevel auf debug stellen und den relevanten Log-Ausschnitt
  zusammen mit Modellbezeichnung und Firmware-Stand posten.

Hello everyone,

I would like to present my iiyama-prolite adapter for testing. It controls professional
iiyama ProLite digital signage displays (LH series) using the official iiyama control
protocol — over either LAN (TCP, port 5000) or RS232 (serial).

Features

• Two connection types: TCP/IP or serial interface (RS232)
• Power on/off including Wake-on-LAN for displays in network standby
• Input selection: HDMI 1–4, DVI-D, DisplayPort 1–2, VGA, USB 1–2
• Volume: main speaker and audio output
• Picture settings: brightness, contrast, colour, sharpness, tint, black level,
  gamma, colour temperature, picture format
• Audio settings: treble and bass
• Status polling at a configurable interval (5–300 s), including operating hours and serial number
• Automatic reconnect, with slower polling while in standby
• Command queue, so concurrent commands cannot interfere with one another

Installation

Via the ioBroker admin: Adapters → iiyama-prolite → Install (repository latest).

Configuration — please note

• Monitor ID must match the ID set in the display's OSD (default: 1).

• Baud rate for serial connections: 9600 for most models,
  115200 only for the LHxx42UHS-B1 series.

• Power Save Mode (1–4) must match the setting in the display's OSD — this is the
  most common pitfall:

  Mode	WOL	Wake on signal	Network control in standby
  1	off	off	not possible
  2	off	on	source signal only
  3	on	off	WOL + power command
  4	on	on	WOL + power command (recommended)

• For modes 3 and 4 the display's MAC address must be configured, otherwise waking
  from standby will not work. The broadcast address is derived automatically from the host
  IP if left empty (192.168.1.100 → 192.168.1.255).

Feedback I would particularly appreciate

• Which model and which connection type (TCP or RS232)?
• Does waking from standby work (Power Save Mode 3/4 + WOL)?
• Are all picture and audio settings applied and reported back correctly?
• Are the operating hours and serial number correct?
• If something goes wrong: please set the log level to debug and post the relevant log
  excerpt together with your model designation and firmware version.
