Ist es nicht möglich den Port für simple API aufzumachen ohne groß Sicherheits Risiko zu machen ?

Ich Tracke mit einer iPhone App wann ich daheim und auf der Arbeit bin . Der könnte sogar http auth aber das kann der simple api Adapter nicht .

Gibt’s da sonst noch Ideen Möglichkeiten oder wie macht ihr das ?

Ist zumindest am einfachsten einzurichten und bevorzuge ich aktuell auch.

Du bekommst dann ja eine IP aus deinem lokalen Netz per VPN. Also greifst Du ganz genauso darauf zu, als wärst Du Zuhause im Netz.

Mhh bei mir ist halt Iobroker auf meinem nas synology drauf … normal wenn man es bei portforwarding machen würde habe ich ja eine url von der Synology wo ich dahinter den Io Port setze und so drauf kommen würde

Ich mache es über VPN (sei es auf einem Pi etc installiert oder über die Fritzbox).
Allerdings geht auch das über die Fernzugriffslizenz.

Wie meldet ihr euch in Iobroker an wenn man unterwegs ist VPN? direkt über Fritz!Box oder wie?

Den Service musst du im. Adapter anlegen.
Irgendwie ging es glaube auch ohne den Service, nochmal suchen.

Übermittelt die App nur in dem Radius die Daten?
Sonst kann man das auch über den places Adapter losen. Shared locations hat es auch integriert.

Über die Fernzugriffslizenz kannst du Daten an den iobroker senden ohne was zu öffnen.
