meine installierte Version ist ist doch mittlerweile Latest. Hab den Adapter auch bereits neu installiert. Wie bekomme ich das geändert?

Du hast mal irgendwann die 2.6.5 (gezielt?) aus dem Beta-(latest)-Regal gepickt, schaust aber regulär nur in das Regal mit den stabilen Versionen. Und da liegt die 2.3.1 drin.
Und genau das wird dir angezeigt. Alles korrekt.
