<![CDATA[Restore mit Backitup auf anderer Hardware]]>Hi,
ich habe gerade versucht ein Restore von einem Backup eines anderen Raspi zu machen. Das ging gehörig schief.
Der Restore lief durch , jedoch keine Adapter und keine Instancen auf dem neuen Raspi.

pi@raspberrypi:~ $ iob list instances


+ instance is alive

Admin startet auch nicht mehr.
Kann ich noch was machen oder muß ich neu installieren ?

das weiß ich nicht. Aber wenn da vorher die Objects und die states in redis liefen, dann musst du auch redis auf dem neuen Rechenr installieren, bevor du das Backup wiederherstellen willst

Auf meinem alten System ist redis/redis. Ich nehme mal an , daß ein restore von redis/redis auf redis/JSONL nicht geht.

du weisst das ein vollständiger restore etwa 1 Stunde dauert?

Die meldung "resore completed" commt direkt nachdem die Konfigdaten eingelesen sind.
Dann siehst du die Instanzen im admin.
Aber danach werden erst die Instanzen installiert

das sieht dann so aus:

warn: host.raspberrypi startInstance cannot find adapter "vis-materialdesign@1.4.12". Try to install it... 3 attempt

warum das bei dir im 3. Anlauf immer noch nicht klappt weiß ich nicht.
Hast du redis auf dem System laufen gehbat, von dem das Backup stammt?

Obwohl unter Instanzen die RPC eingetragen sind , scheinen sie nicht vorhanden zu sein. Unter Adapter ist auch keine Instanz eingetragen. Rega hingegen ist eingetragen. Auch andere Instanzen sind zwar in der Liste, aber nicht wirklich installiert.

So langsam repariert er sich selber. Die RPC laufen jetzt alle :-))

Problem war die Umstellung von JSONL auf redis in objects und states.
War wieder nicht erreichbar nach der redis Umstellung, also wieder neu installiert und erst die States nach redis und dann die objects nach redis umgestellt. Das hat dann funktioniert. Vielleicht mag er die gleichzeitige Umstellung nicht.
Danach nochmal ein restore versucht und der hat geklappt.

Mal schauen was weiter passiert.
