Ich versuche IObroker neu zu installieren aber bekomme immer "npm Err! Unexpected en of JSON input while Parsind near ...

NPM ist up to date sieht alles IO aus.

Nach dem Fehler kommt auch das IOBroker autostart enable etc und sagt Io Broker was insalled successfully aber per Web komme ich nicht drauf.

Elementary OS ist ein Desktopsystem, kein Serversystem.

die VM bekommt 2 CPus und hat 4 GB RAM und eine 60 GB HDD.

Der IOBroker war auf der VM am Laufen. Seit ca mai letzten JAhres. Ich wollte das Update machen wie beschrieben und dabei ist irgend etwas schief gelaufen. Danach war der IObroker weg. Ich hatte aber die iobroker-Data aber gesichert wie auch dort beschrieben. .

Welche HW?
VM, Container....?

Was meinst du mit Backup? Hattest du schon eine laufenden iobroker Installation oder wie habe ich das zu verstehen?

Bin kein Linux spezi daher hatte ich davon ein VM am laufen. Muss mal schauen wie ich die Daten (iobroker-data) von der VM runterbekomme. und dann könnte ich eine einfach VM aufsetzten.. Aber ich möchte verstehen was da nicht läuft. Wollte ihn nur schnell wieder am laufen haben ... Und ich weiss ich habe vergessen die VM vor dem Update zu sichern....

Warum so ein „altes“ Ubuntu?
Warum ein Server mit GUI?

Kannst du, wenn du das Ubuntu verwenden willst das nochmal mit einer nackten Installation starten ohne vorher Node/Npm manuell zu installieren. Das macht der installer automatisch richtig mit.
